All Surgery consultations are by appointment only and are for 10 minutes.  If you need more than one person to be seen or require a longer appointment, please inform the receptionist when booking.

Appointments can be booked:

  • in person
  • on the telephone by calling the relevant site
  • or online using the SystmOne website at the top of this page.

You will be asked to give an indication of the problem to enable our receptionists to book you with the correct health care professional.

ONLINE APPOINTMENTS - if you are not registered for online appointments or prescriptions please go into the surgery and Reception will issue with a username and password.  Please take identification and proof of address.

Urgent / same day appointments

Please call as early as possible after 08:00 and at 13.00 for afternoon appointments.

Routine appointments

Pre-booked appointments are put onto the system 6 weeks in advance.

Telephone Advice

We have a small number of telephone slots with the doctor or nurse practitioner every day for problems that do not require a face to face appointment.  These can be arranged by telephoning and leaving a contact number with our Receptionists.  Please ring as early as possible to request these and before 3.30pm.

Extended Hours

Late night surgery is at Parkhall site on Mondays between 18:30 - 19:30. Appointments can be made by telephoning 01487 740888 or by booking online.  These sessions are for pre-booked appointments only, there is no facility to see emergencies.

If at any time you should need an examination of an intimate nature, please feel free to ask for the presence of a chaperone.  Prior notice, in the event of a planned procedure, would be helpful to minimise any potential delay.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

**Since the new GP contract, all patients are now registered with the Practice and not individual Doctors, so you are free to consult with any of the General Practitioners.**
